• Households who are at or below 50% of the median state income are eligible
• The size of the grant is based on household size, income, fuel type and energy usage and household income
• Energy Assistance is federally funded through the US Department of Human Services
• Funds are available for renters or homeowners

• Education for consumers to use home heating energy efficiently and safely
• Advocacy with energy suppliers and human service providers on behalf of consumers
